Katie the Kitty

I wanted to make my own bullshit FNAF OC so here we go.

Ghost Name: Agatha
Location: Fazbear Entertainment Warehouse (Former), Freddy's Pizza (FNAF 2)
Role: Guitarist, Prototype
Friends: FunTime Freddy, Bon-Bon, Ennard, Toy Freddy, Puppet
Status: Functional, AWOL
Personality: While being a solitary AI for most of her "life", Katie has never had access to a ghost to obtain a persona full of human want and desire. She lacks most sorts of emotion until arriving at the FNAF 2 location. However, being of the same kind of AI and being familiar with the Funtime animatronics makes Katie eager to please Ennard, feeling the same desire to be free as she has developed an artificial sense of loneliness. Her memories are later manipulated by Agatha's own emotions for desiring companionship, and she seeks this in FT Freddy who she has spent most time with before being separated, pre Baby's Circus. Driven by curiosity, Katie directs her need for companionship to several other animatronics and in the end realizes that while everyone has the desire to be "free" ghosts confine them to new psychological limits, making every AI unique in their personality. Realizing this, Katie becomes conflicted on what her own needs and wants are vs. everyone else's.

Katie AU and Backstory

Katie was originally going to be part of Baby's Circus as FunTime Katie, but Baby's was shutdown before she could be integrated. Therefore, she was never a part of the hive mind AI that is Ennard. Katie remained in the warehouse by herself, decommissioned until Ennard found his way back to the place of the animatronics' creation, after his last ploy to escape into the human world backfired. Knowing that Katie was once "one of them" and desires her own freedom, he enlists her to help keep his presence a secret from Fazbear Entertainment and eventually find his way back into the human world.

Time passes, the first Freddy's Pizza goes defunct, pieces of Baby's Circus are salvaged, and the idea is brought-up to bring the technology over from Baby's over to the Freddy franchise. This is the beginning of the Toy animatronics. Katie is used as a prototype to create the Toy animatronics, but never dawns the name of Toy Katie, since she doesn't have a past model. Eventually, her physical manipulation leads to the creation of the Toy Animatronics. Using Katie as a hacker, her and FunTime Foxy (now acting independently from Ennard) plot to highjack the Toy animatronics and use them as a new set of bodies for all the AIs mixed into Ennard. FT Foxy manages to infiltrate the AI of Toy Foxy but before anything else can be done, he and Katie realize it's too late as they've been beaten to the punch by someone more powerful, the Puppet.

Puppet has already bestowed the other Toy animatronics with the spirits of dead children, murdered by the Purple Guy. Due to the Ennard AIs already having their own ghosts, they aren't compatible with already occupied Toys, except FT Foxy who occupied Toy Foxy before Puppet could give it life. As a result, Puppet gives the remaining ghost to Katie, a little girl spirit named Agatha. With the two groups now intertwined because of Katie and FT Foxy, Puppet and Ennard agree to help each other on the grounds that they all desire freedom.

As Freddy's Pizza opens for business, FT Foxy finds herself on the front-lines, looking for more hosts, but is pulled apart and put back together by the children, leading him to become known as The Mangle. The remainder of the Ennard AIs stay back in storage, unused and unnoticed with Katie. Katie soon comes to realize the conflict between the two groups ideals, as she is confronted by Agatha's will. Like the other Ennard AIs, Katie wants to live in the outside world with a life of her own but Agatha's idea of freedom (with all the other animatrontics) is seeking revenge against her killer and being at peace, moving onto the afterlife.

In the meantime, Katie awakens her desire for companionship with the help of Agatha's own emotions. She seeks out FT Freddy (now rebuilt thanks to salvage brought over from Baby's Circus), who was the animatronic she spent the most of the time with while being built. FT Freddy and Katie get along very well and enjoy each other's company, to the point where Katie sees them finding happiness together in the future, when they are free. Yet, something feels like it's missing. One day, Katie runs an errand over to the pizzeria to check-in with Mangle, and she is confronted by Toy Freddy. She expects him to be just like FT Freddy, but she discovers he's the exact opposite, whereas FT Freddy tends to be eccentric and wild, and Toy Freddy is more serious and level-headed. The shift in environment sparks interest in Katie and she develops a fondness for Toy Freddy, as well. This brings tension between her and FT Freddy and she begins to realize their differences through his flaws, leading Katie to discover while they're all animatronics, their personalities derived from their ghosts couldn't have made them more different from each other. Katie begins to sink into a deeper state of isolation after confronting Agatha's will a second time, coming to the conclusion that her own uniqueness greatly differs from everyone else because she and her ghost share two different sets of personalities and ambitions. Therefore her AI and ghost are separate beings within one body.

(Side Note: Katie also attempts forming relationships with Puppet and Ennard. (Ennard uses FT Freddy's voice when speaking to her directly.))

Eventually, the Toy animatronocs get carried away with their goals and cause Freddy's Pizza to shutdown. All the Toy animatronics are confiscated, but Mangle manages to escape with the help of Ennard. However, the other Baby's Circus AIs (now unfused from the main Ennard AI) are discovered and are confiscated as well, but not before Puppet snatches Katie away before she can be found. Puppet, Mangle, and Katie now being the only ones left make it a mission to retrieve all the ghost/AIs. From the Fazbear's computer database. While this is going on, Agatha complains to Katie that her killer will never be caught and she'll never rest in peace, which leads to an argument between the two about what they really want. Agatha confides in Katie that she was an orphan picked off the street, as an easy target for her murderer, and she wants revenge because her potential for having a better life was destroyed. Katie compromises with her saying that if she can move past her desire for revenge she can move forward with a new life with her and the other animatronics. Agatha says she'll think about it, and fades into Katie's conscious.

The team arrives at Fazbear Entertaiments new office headquarters. Mangle subdues security, opening a path for Puppet and Katie to get in and reach the computer server. It proves difficult as none have them have actually seen these kind of large computers before and have never operated them before. Relaying old data/memories from Ennard, Katie figures they're probably just as hackable as the computers from Baby's Circus. After some trial and error, Katie and Puppet find their way into the server. They manage to find the confiscated AIs in the database, and Katie comes to the sudden realization that the office is not only directly connected to the software of Baby's Circus, but right above the former establishment itself. Katie is suddenly rocked by the idea that she is at the location that she was intentionally made for, but never got to see. Figuratively, she finds herself standing from base 1 all over again; purposeless and alone. However, she reminds herself that she is with all the other AIs and is far more capable of doing anything she couldn't do before because of her ghost.

Katie and Puppet are left with the question of what's to be done with the AIs, and Katie puts it on Puppet telling him he's "god" in this scenario and has the ability to give them their own freedom, separate from the the other animatronics. Puppet chastises that their idea of freedom has been impossible from the start; they can never live among humans. Katie makes her own decision to leave the franchise and promises to find a way to make it possible, by lurking in the shadows of society. Puppet further reprimands her that Agatha will never find peace that way, and Katie retorts that there are things in the world just as powerful as vengeance that can drive a person to go on existing, and Agatha and her now share the same goal; to live. Before departing, Katie downloads the AIs of FT Freddy and Bon-Bon with the remainder of her memory space, bringing them along on the journey.

  Goddamit! I was supposed to write a shitty, Mary Sue backstory for this character, and what do I go and do? I write a whole movie synopsis! And it actually sounds really fucking great! I'd watch that shit. *Sigh* Oh well. I guess I'll write the stupid time skip part that is supposed to be the icing on the cake.

Post Time Skip (long after FNAF3)

Come the year 2027, the human world has combined with computer technology that has advanced to the point that many members of the public possess cyberbrains, technology that allows them to interface their biological brain with various networks. The masses have gone as far calling their new cybernetic bodies "shells" and the souls that reside within them "ghosts". People can simply be downloaded from one body to another. But does this only apply to people…?

Katie who has been on the run for decades now, finally has the chance to walk among humanity after stealing a cybernetic body from the Megatech Body manufacturer. While coming to terms with no longer living a life of secrecy, she must also find shells for her companion ghost/AIs FT Freddy and Bon-Bon and find the remains of her lost animatronic brethren.
